Prom started off absolutely shit, mainly due to the weather. I guess the weather just reflected on our year haha. Nothing went my way, I wasn’t looking forward to it at all. Hair got ruined by the wind. Nothing seemed right.

But then we arrived at Liberty Grand, everyone was just so beautiful and lovely, I can’t help but smile. And I thought, this is the last time. This is the last time class of 2012 will be together like this; dressed up and classy. It’s the last time we’re going to be running around taking pictures with each other, last time we go to a formal event. It’s the last time for a lot of things. Time just went by too fast and didn’t give me a chance to live and appreciate everything. Prom is supposed to sum up our four years of high school. And it sure did, I had such a splendid time with everyone. Everyone was just so gorgeous (and Memo girls DEFINITELY beat every other school when it comes to best dresses). 

Four years is a long time for a teenager. We spent four years together and we ended together. So many little things we do.. we won’t be able to do anymore. Just think about it. We’ve seen each other more these four years than we did with our own family. We are a family. There’s no semi formal next year. There will be no assemblies next year. No more national anthem either haha. We’re all going our separate ways and approaching a new beginning. It is truly bittersweet.

Look at us now. Look how much we’ve grown, just see the Prom pictures to see what lovely people we’ve become. No matter what quarrels we have, any problems we’ve encountered, we fucking made it. We just had the best Prom of a life time, and we still had fun through everything. And to the Prom haters, you guys are low lives and party poopers.

I love you all and I will miss you all. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Class of 2012, congratulations on an unforgettable Prom.
